From Student to Innovator — The Journey Behind Modern Bachata Fusion

Carlitos’ dance journey started like many others — with a passion for music and movement.
After years of learning Bachata, Sensual Bachata, and Urban Dance across Europe and the U.S., he realized that each style had something beautiful to offer — yet dancers often struggled to combine them in a clear, fluid way.

Driven by the desire to help others dance with more freedom and confidence, Carlitos spent years refining a new teaching method.
Blending footwork, Sensual body movement, and Urban flow, he developed what is now known as Modern Bachata Fusion — a style that empowers dancers to move naturally, connect deeply with the music, and stand out on any dance floor.

Today, his approach is recognized throughout Phoenix’s bachata community and beyond.

From Stages to the Studio — Inspiring the Next Generation

Beyond teaching, Carlitos is an experienced performer and organizer.
He has shared the stage with top bachata artists and organized one of the largest bachata festivals in Germany, drawing dancers from around the world.

Now based in Phoenix, Arizona, he continues to inspire a new generation through weekly classes, Modern Bachata Fusion bootcamps, and community events.
